About Cholamandalam MS Flexi Health Insurance Flexi Health Policy offered by Cholamandalam MS General Insurance is an indemnity based health insurance policy that protects you and your family from financial burden in case of a health emergency. The policy covers people aged between 3 months and 65 years, wherein the Proposer needs to be aged at least 18 years to be able to buy the policy. The policy covers your entire family, including your legally wedded spouse, parents, children, siblings, and parents in laws, under the policy, on an individual or family floater basis. The policy comes with flexible sum insured options ranging between Rs. 1 Lakh and Rs. 25 Lakh. You can pay the premium for Flexi Health Policy on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual basis, as per your convenience. Kindly note that the premium will be based on your location.

 

Key Inclusions and Exclusions of the Plan

What’s Included

    • In-patient hospitalisation expenses
    • 30 days pre-hospitalisation and 60 days post-hospitalisation expenses
    • Daycare procedures are covered under this plan
    • Treatments taken under AYUSH systems of medicines
    • Road ambulance expenses for up to 1% of the sum insured, for a maximum of Rs. 2,000 per hospitalisation

What’s Not Included

    • Any claim arising due to war or act or war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, etc.
    • Any treatment required due to self harm or suicide or attempt of suicide
    • Vaccination or inoculation unless forming a part of post-animal bite treatment
    • Non-medical expenses in case of hospitalisation
    • Pre-existing diseases until 36 months of continuous coverage
